Windows Mobile 6.5 is coming supposedly third quarter of 2009. While this isn’t carved in stone and hardly news to most of you, I didn’t really check on this version of Windows Mobile yet. Knowing my phone came with the option to get the new OS for free, I tried to update once but was told that it wasn’t possible at that time and couldn’t be bothered to check again, knowing my new Iphone 3GS is on its way to me.

Nevertheless, I’m also curious what Microsoft has to offer and and while speculations about Windows Mobile 7 are already online, I stick to what is known at the moment and present you a video of a Windows Mobile 6.5:

If you read my blog a bit, you will have realized that I’m not a ‘fanboy’ of anything really. I sure like a few things more than others, like Ubuntu, but I also agree to negative aspects when well presented. That said, I wonder why Microsoft publishes such a video. It must be an early version of Windows Mobile 6.5, but I wouldn’t try to show off with a video depicting a really slow OS that looks like it just woke up and is now trying to find it’s way to the toilet without glasses.
