As for the lock screen: well, what&#039;s missing is a switch to turn information on the lock screen either on or off.
I, for one, leave my iPhone on my office desk quit often while fetching hot water for my tea or whatever. And I wouldn&#039;t want anybody to be able to see who sent me mails, or whom I&#039;m going to meet later that day, etc.
For security reasons I really like that the lock screen shows nothing but date and time. On the other hand, I can understand the outcries for as much information as possible at first sight.
As for new/unread mails, I&#039;d really love to have some sort of (hidden) LED on the device that blinks, say, red for new mail, blue for new text messages and green for missed calls, so that I can see what I missed without unlocking the phone first.</description>
