Since I started this new category, namely apps, I came across a cooking app, which I think is grand. Although it will take a whopping 400+ MB of your iPhone’s memory, it doesn’t offer almost unlimited recipes. Instead, Jamie Oliver decided to go a different route, which I think makes this app worth the money: he describes every meal with a summary, offers a shopping list and provides a step-by-step guide that includes pictures. Additionally you will get videos explaining different kitchen skills, such as Cooking the perfect steak or Top fish buying tips.
I’m not a great chef, or even close to that, but I’m looking forward to preparing some meals with the help of this app.
Already a while ago I wrote about Blogfield. The idea from aptgetupdate.com was to create a picture in which avatars are shown, that were created by people who have blogs – hence the name Blogfield.
This is the result and it’s up to you to guess who I am – No, it’s not the one in the middle, so guess again 
I liked the idea from the beginning and hope that these guys will make it happen in some point again and reach even more people to create an even bigger picture next year – or 2011?!
After a really nice summer holiday in which I spent quite a lot of time away from my computer (even wasn’t online for a whole week!), I needed to work on my blog again and while I was at it, I added a nice feature – or so I’d like to think. When you visit my blog from devices such as the Blackberry or the Iphone from now on, you’ll see a design that is more suitable to mobile phones. I just tried it and it seems to work. If you encounter any problems though, please let me know; otherwise enjoy.
